In the brutal heat wave, Cecille Hershkovitz, Director of the Community Guardian Program for JASA, Renee Chaim-Alfasse a social worker for JASA and unlicensed Sandra Allen-Simms Supervisor of Social Workers for JASA sent a dependent to various locations all over the City to pick up his SSI check. The client, Mr. Fersedy, uses a walker to get around. Fersedy was direcected by e-mail and telephone to precced to one address after another to recover his July SSI check. This was done during a heat emergency declared by the City of New York. The check was never turned over Fersedy.

Fersedy collapsed from the heat and the stress of the taunting abuse. He suffering a heart attack and was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. Despite Fersedy's hospitalization, JASA employees continued to torment him. They held both his July and August checks and continue this abuse to this day.
